The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency’s (Aneel) collegiate board approved today, in an extraordinary meeting, the final index for the periodic tariff review for distributor CEB Distribuição S/A. The new tariffs will go in effect tomorrow (08/26) for the 753 thousand consumer units in the Federal District. The resolution will be published in the Diário Oficial da União (official daily government newspaper).
The average effect of the review is – 2.91% (negative) and will be applied in a differentiated manner by consumer class. Check the indexes that will be incorporated in the electricity bills:
