The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency’s (Aneel) collegiate board approved today the annual tariff readjustment for Elektro Eletricidade e Serviços S/A. The new tariffs will go in effect tomorrow (08/27), when they will be published in the Diário Oficial da União (official daily government newspaper). Elektro serves 2.028 million consumer units in 223 municipalities in São Paulo (Rio Claro, Limeira,Guarujá, Itanhaém, Votuporanga, Andradina and others) and five more municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul (Três Lagoas, Anaurilândia, Brasilândia, Santa Rita do Pardo and Selviria).
The average affect to be perceived by the captive consumers is 10.91%, however, the approved percentages for companies vary according to the consumption class. See below:
