The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency’s (Aneel) board of directors approved today (04/22) the final index of the second periodical tariff readjustment of the distributor Companhia Energética de Pernambuco (Celpe). The new tariffs are going to be in effect as of April 29, to 2.8 million consumption units in 185 municipalities of Pernambuco and the town of Pedra do Fogo, in Paraíba.
The average effect the readjustment is of – 1.08% (negative) and will be applied differently per consumption class. Check the indexes that will be incorporated in the power bills:
