The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency’s (Aneel) College Board of directors approved today (06/23), at a public meeting, the annual tariff readjustment for the distributor Copel Distribuição S/A. The new tariffs will be in full effect as of tomorrow (06/24), when they will be published in the Brazilian Official Press. Copel serves 3.523.543 consumption units in 392 cities in Paraná and one city (Porto União) in Santa Catarina. With the decision by Aneel, the average effect perceived by the captive consumer will increase 12.98%.
