Aneel approved today (01/26) on a provisional value the Fuel Consumption Account (CCC) for the first quarter of 2010.  Shares worth R$836,959 million have been set only for this period because there is still no specific regulations by the Executive Branch of Law No.  12111/09,  caused by Provisional Measure No. 466/09, which provides for energy services in isolated systems. The adoption of such shares is subject to revision.  The decision was necessary to ensure continuity of services for power generation in isolated systems*.  The quota for the first quarter represents a monthly average of R$ 278,986 million.

Eletrobrás forwarded the value of the Annual Fuels Plan (CAP) ** of Isolated Systems for 2010 to the Agency without regard to the impacts of the new law.  The definition of finality of the annual quota of CCC for 2010 will depend on the publication by the executive regulations of Law No. 12111/09, because there is no sufficient evidence for Eletrobrás to prepare the annual budget bill and Aneel approves it.  While it does not happen, the Aneel board approved the quarterly CCC share based on the rule before the new law.
