Consumers served by the energy distributor Ampla Energy and Services S/A had rates adjusted by the National Energy Agency (Aneel). The new tariffs will take effect as from next Monday (03/15) and will apply to 2.3 million consumers in 66 cities in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Among the cities served by the company, there are: Niterói, Teresópolis, Petrópolis, Cabo Frio and Saquarema.
The average effect to be perceived by consumers of Ampla will be -4.7% (negative). Check below the rates to be applied to bills . The new rates already incorporate the effects of the new methodology proposed in Amendment Term approved by Aneel in the board meeting on February 2nd this year.
