The Special Tender Committee of the National Energy Agency (Aneel) announced today (04/16) the list of subscribers who brought security to join the energy auction of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Plant on April 20th, at the headquarters of the Agency in Brasilia, via computer system. Two consortia made contribution of R$ 190 million (1% of the total investment estimated at R$ 19 billion), endorsed at Banco Bradesco S/A. Check the attached list of consortia and their composition.
1) Norte Energia CONSORTIUM (nine companies)

Training – Training and simulation of the auction will be held tomorrow (04/17), with the participations restricted to representatives of subscribed consortia.
Auction – The auction will be promoted by ANEEL, with operationalization of the Board of Electric Energy Commercialization (CCEE), as delegated by the Agency. The guidelines approved by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) are listed in Order no. 417/2009. The winner of the contest will be the (national or foreign) company, FIP (Investment Holdings Fund) or entity for Pension Funds, or any consortium that brings together these types of participants, who offers the lowest bid, in dollars per Megawatt-hour (R$/MWh) of energy. The top price was set by the Ministry of Mines and Energy at R$ 83 per MWh.
Belo Monte HPP – The Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant will be located on the Xingu river (PA), with installed capacity of 11,233.1 MW, generating an average of 4,571 MW of physical security, which is the maximum amount of energy and power that can be used for proof of service loading or marketing contracts. The early generation is expected for February 2015, when the first machine of the supplement powerhouse (Pimental Site) comes into commercial operation. Completion is scheduled for 2019, with the coming into operation of the last generating unit of the main powerhouse (Belo Monte Site).
