The collegiate board of directors from the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – Aneel) approved today (15/06), in a public meeting, the annual tariff readjustment for distribution companies Energisa Minas Gerais S/A (former Companhia Força e Luz Cataguazes Leopoldina S/A) and Energisa Nova Friburgo S/A (former Companhia de Eletricidade de Nova Friburgo – Cenf). The new tariffs will go into effect this coming Friday (06/18), after being published in the Official Daily Government Newspaper (Diário Oficial da União – DOU). Check out the indexes that will be applied to the distribution companies’ consumers’ electricity bills. The new tariff already incorporate the effects of the new methodology proposed in Termo Aditivo approved by Aneel at the board of directors’ meeting on February 2 of this year.
