Fonte: ANEELThe concession contracts relating to the enterprises of lots A, B, C, G, H and I of Transmission Auction 001/2010 held on June 11th this year, were signed today (10/06) by the Director-General of ANEEL Nelson Hübner, and by representatives of the winning companies of the contest in a ceremony presided over by the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Jose Antonio Correa Coimbra.
The Director-General of ANEEL, Hübner Nelson, said during the ceremony that the experience of the auction was very successful and there was healthy competition among entrepreneurs. "There was a strong participation of multinationals and other companies, which resulted in an average discount of 31%. With the reduction of prices, the main beneficiaries are the consumers and industries, which can have a lower rate in the future", said Huebner.
The term of the concessions of the lots auctioned at the event is 30 years for construction, operation and maintenance of 708 kilometers (km) of four lines and 11 substations of the Basic Network. The projects will be built in seven states: São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Pará, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Bahia and Alagoas. The investments will be around BRL 700 million, generating 3,450 direct jobs. The operation of the lines and substations that have concession contracts signed today will happen in two years. The lots were acquired with average discount of 31.57% compared to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) * for the services provided in the announcement, which was BRL 39.304 million. The difference on account of the discount, which is BRL 12.4 million per year, represents low rates, since the RAP is a component of the rate paid by final consumers to distributors.
