The National Energy Agency wants to hear people on the regulation of Ombudsman Agencies of the concessionaires and licensees of public energy distribution. For that, Public Consultation No. 021/2010 was opened, and its deadline for contributions is March 25th, 2011. Also there will be a classroom session in the Auditorium of ANEEL on March 18th, 2011, from 2PM to 6PM.
The need to discuss the matter came to the realization that the institutions already have maturity, because approximately 90% of dealers have an ombudsman agency, and 65% were established for more than five years. The idea is to standardize procedures so ombudsman agencies comply with the ombudsman functioning as an additional instance for consumers to resolve their doubts and complaints.
