Fonte: ANEELLow-income consumers who consume between 68 and 79 kilowatt hours per month (kWh/month) and are not yet enrolled in the Unified Register for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico) will have 90 more days to register and thus ensure the maintenance of receipt of the rebates provided for in the Social Rate of Electric Energy (TSEE). After registering, the consumer should seek the electricity distributor to confirm the registration and go on receiving the benefit.
The decision was made today (02/15) by the board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL), which has decided to postpone it from March 1 to June 1 in order of discount entitlement to consumers in this age of consumption that have not yet submitted to energy distribution proof of inclusion in CadÚnico.
The directors have considered the difficulty of registering consumer had, pointed out by some distributors and the Department of Consumer Protection Law (DPDC), of the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger (MDS) also demonstrated the need to extend the deadline in order to identify consumers who currently receive the benefit and which are not yet on CadÚnico.
Any low-income consumers that meet the eligibility requirements for the social rate of energy management should seek the Bolsa Familia program in the municipal administration. More information about this process can be obtained from the MDS website. After registration, you must seek the distributor.
