The Indicative Regulatory Agenda with action plan for the area of regulation of services of electricity distribution for the 2011-2012 biennium is available for inspection at the ANEEL website (www.aneel.gov.br). The initiative aims to collect subsidies for the studies developed by the Superintendence of Regulation of Distribution Services (SRD), and to help provide transparency to future regulations for the distribution segment.
Among the actions planned for the period are the rules of the second stage of deployment of smart meters in low-voltage consumer units*, such as residences, the assessment of individual indicators of continued provision of electric service and improving the regulatory framework on rates. Check out here the activities and the periods provided for studies, jobs, hearings and consultations in the 2011-2012 biennium.
