Companhia Energética de Açúcar e Álcool do Vale do Tijuco Ltda. was authorized to produce electrical energy in Minas Gerais through the installation and exploration of the Vale do Tijuco II thermoelectric plant.The plant has an installed capacity of 40 megawatts and it is located in the city of Uberaba.The plant uses sugar cane bagasse as fuel.The above decision was made at the ANEEL directorate meeting held yesterday (2/22).
