The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) decided at a public meeting, on 03/01, to maintain a fine imposed on Companhia de Energia Elétrica do Estado do Tocantins(CELTINS) and reduce the fine imposed on Light Serviços de Eletricidade S.A.Companhia Hidroelétrica do São Francisco (CHESF) had its penalty canceled.
Among the violations committed by companies are the breach of the goals established by the Agency for the indicators that measure the duration (DEC)* and the frequency (FEC)** of power outages, as well as impropriety in customer service. The board's decision ends the possibility of using the utilities at the administrative level. Check the table below with details about the violations. (PG/GL)
