The deadline for contributions to the Public Hearing No. 10/2011, which deals with the regulation of interconnection of isolated systems to the National Interconnected System (SIN), has been set.
SIN encompasses the activities of production, transmission and distribution of electricity, accounting for nearly 98% of all electricity demand in the country. The remainder is treated in isolation, by small sized electrical systems only to meet the localized needs.
In this context, it becomes necessary to integrate a proper regulation of agents installed on individual systems without, at the same time, compromising the operating environment and marketing of electric power grid system.
The deadline for contributions goes up to April 7th, 2011 and suggestions can be sent to the e-mail address ap010_2011@aneel.gov.br. (PG/GL)
