Consumers in the municipality of Resende, in Rio de Janeiro, will have the power rate readjusted as of March 22nd. The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved at the public meeting today (03/15) an increase of 7.35% in the rate charged by Cooperativa de Eletrificação Rural de Resende Ltda.(CERES), which serves 3,810 consumer units. The factors that most affected the approved index were the costs of the cooperative for the purchase and transportation of energy, besides the sector charges. (PG/GL)
