The board of the National Energy Agency (Aneel) approved today (03/15) the new value of the Usage Rate of Transmission System (TUST) of the Incentive Program for Alternative Sources of Energy (Proinfa) for 2011. The rate change was necessary because of Provisional Measure No. 517/2010, which modified Law no. 9.648/98 and extended the duration of the Global Reversion Reserve (RGR) charge until the end of 2035.
In December last year, ANEEL had established Proinfa quotas and set TUST-Proinfa for 2011 without including the cost of RGR, for Law no. 9.648/98 determined the termination charge to the end of 2010. With the enactment of interim and the postponement of the charge, the Agency modified the value of the TUST-Proinfa according to the chart below.
