  Transmission auction no.001/2011, projected for May 20, will be for contracting utilities that will integrate the Basic Grid of the National Interconnected System (SIN), together with transmission installations of exclusive interest to generation plants (ICG)*that commercialize energy at reserve (no.05/2010) and alternative source (no.07/2010) energy auctions.

  The reports on which Transmission Auction no.001/2011 are founded are available for copying by sending two new DVDs to the Agency’s General Protocol, which is open from 8 am to 6 pm at the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) head offices located at SGAN 603, Module I, Ground Floor, Brasília (DF), ZIP Code:70830-030.

  Edict publication with the auction’s timetable should occur on April 20, after approval by the ANEEL collegiate board.

  These ICG are needed to flow the wind energy sold in alternative source and reserve energy auctions of August 2010, which resulted in contracting 1,206.6 MW of power installed in Bahia, Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte Check out each lot’s installations (GL/FA)
