The period for submission of contributions to Public Hearing 018/2011 is open, whose objective is to obtain support for amending Article23 of Normative Resolution 12/2002, which regulates procedures for reinforcements of private facilities in rural zones, owned by rural electrification cooperatives regulated as authorities.
One of the proposals is to allow the cooperative to request contracting of a new delivery point for electricity, for example, to their own supplier without the need for additional control by ANEEL. The question would only be submitted to the Agency, if the request for extension of electrical facilities to increase or to serve new charges happened to be denied.
Contributions can be submitted up to 04/29/2011 to the e-mail: ap018_2011@aneel.gov.br. The documents of the public hearing will be available on the website www.aneel.gov.br, on Audiências/Consultas/Fórum. (PG/DB)
