The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) authorized the transfer of shareholder control at six generation and transmission companies. They are: Cedin do Brasil Ltda.; Usina Termoelétrica Seival Ltda.; Energyworks do Brasil Ltda.; Capuava Energy Ltda.; Artemis Transmissora de Energia S/A and Uirapuru Transmissora de Energia S/A. ANEEL has also set a 90 day deadline, after publication of the authorizing resolutions in the Official Federal Gazette (DOU) for implementation of the transfers, and 30 days after the transfers have been made for sending the confirmatory documentation.
