Board maintains penalties applied to two companies

The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) has maintained both penalties applied to Empresa de Transmissão do Alto Uruguai S.A (ETAU) and Energisa Paraíba Distribuidora de Energia. The penalties applied totaled nearly R$220,000 and are related to breach of the items of the Accounting Manual, by ETAU, and irregularities observed during the technical and commercial supervision of Energisa Paraíba. The decision was made during the meeting of the Board held on Tuesday (04/05). (PG/GL)

R$209,803.96 The Agency decided to hear and dismiss the appeal filed. It maintained the penalty applied by the Regulatory Agency of the State of Paraíba (ARPB)
