Consumers of electricity can consult the deadline for their city to have an onsite service station of their energy distributor. The list prepared by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) contains the name of the city in alphabetical order, the operating time of the reception desks and date of installation of the station, which varies with the number of consumer units.

The installation of the stations meets the Agency's determination. By rule,  Resolution No. 414/2010  (General Conditions of Energy Supply), cities with more than 10,000 consumer units must already have stations since March 15. In these locations, the operation must be eight hours daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and times should be regular, previously reported and posted at the entrance of every post.

As of June 15, it will be the time to complete the installation of stations in the cities that have between two thousand to 10,000 consumer units. In such cases, the stations must operate for at least four hours daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

And consumers in cities with less than two thousand consumer units will have the stations as from September 15. In these places, attendance is eight hours per week, also with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

ANEEL began surveillance to verify compliance with this determination by the distributors. If not, they are subject to a fine of up to 2% of revenues, as provided for in other regulations of the Agency ( Resolution No. 63/2004). (GL/FA)
