The review of Normative Resolution No. 265/1998 is under public hearing, laying down the procedures for exercising the activity of sale of electricity in the open market. The goal is to improve the rule to address the current needs and legislation of the market.
Over the last decade there have been many changes in regulations and the proposal is that the revision of the standard will improve the mechanism controlling the entry of new agents to reduce the breach of contract. The intention is to make this system more efficient without creating difficulties for the entry of new suppliers.
