The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved the amendments of the schedule of Small Hydro Power (SHP) Indaiá Grande, in the city of Cassilândia, Mato Grosso do Sul. Only the dates for the implementation milestones were changed. The date of the entry into commercial operation of the first generating unit was maintained for May 1, 2012, at the discretion of the board meeting last Tuesday (04/26).
SHP Indaiá Great was granted by the transfer to Indaiá Grande Energia S.A., according to Authorizing Resolution No. 2.513/2010. The project installed on the Indaiá Grande river will have 18.3 megawatts (MW) of total power. The agent is authorized to act as an independent producer. (FA/GL)
