Tracks of land located in Minas Gerais were declared public utility by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) for purposes of administrative easements. The areas are required for the implementation of the Itatiaiuçu-Itaúna I distribution line. The decision, taken at the last public meeting of the board (05/03), favors Cemig Distribuição S/A.
The distribution line is 23.36 kilometers (km) long and is located in the cities of Itaúna and Itatiaiuçu, in Minas Gerais.
The general procedures for application of a declaration of public utility, for expropriation and imposition of administrative easements of lands in areas necessary for the establishment of facilities for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, for concessionaires and authorized institutions are on ANEEL Resolution No.279/2007.
