Last Tuesday (03), the request for direct transfer of corporate control of Perdizes Energética Ltda., currently owned by José Renato Baiardi for Vila Energia Renovável S/S Ltda. was approved during the board meeting. Perdizes was allowed to establish themselves as independent power producer for the establishment and operation of Small Hydro Power (SHP) Lajinha with 1.6 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity located in the Perdizes river, in the city of Monte Carmelo, Minas Gerais.

Since works of SHP Lajinha have not yet been completed, by the decision of ANEEL, the transfer must be agreed upon since the Vila Energia Renovável, the new controller of Perdizes Energética, presents faithful valid guarantee of the venture, worth 5% of the investment to be held, equivalent to BRL 4,000.00 per kW installed.

The direct transfer of corporate control of Sociedade de Propósito Específico (SPE) Salto Góes Energia S.A., currently held by SHP Holding S.A., to SHP Holding 2 Ltda was also authorized during the board in the meeting. In 2010, SPE Salto Góes was allowed to establish themselves as independent power producer for the establishment and operation of SHP with installed power of 20 MW, located in the Peixe river, in the city of Tangará, in Santa Catarina. Since works of the SHP were not completed, the transfer can only be performed if it satisfies the same condition presented to SHP Lajinha.

The companies have a period of 90 (ninety) days to complete the transfer and 30 (thirty) days, after activation, to forward supporting documentation to ANEEL. (PG/DB).
