The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) has decided to match the deployment schedules of plants winning Reserve (no.. 05/2010) and Alternative (no.. 07/2010) Auctions at the time of deployment of Transmission Facilities of exclusive Generation Units Interest (ICG)*, to be auctioned on 06/10, and with start date for supply established in the Contract Energy Trading in the Regulated Environment (CCEAR).
 
The measure was taken to avoid the inefficient use of resources and remuneration of assets for which there is no effective use. Thus, the plants that will use the ICG may request a change in implementation schedule of the project, for which commercial operation coincides with the commercial operation of transmission facilities. The change in the supply date of CCEAR arising from the auction also follows this guidance.
 
To commit the changes, interested entrepreneurs should apply formally to the changes in implementation schedule of the plant and start supplying the contract, according to a model that will be available on the ANEEL website (www.aneel.gov.br). With the postponement of commercial operations, the start of the supply and payment of revenues from contracts is also postponed, as well as its end, for the same period.
