Fonte: ANEELCompanies in the states of Roraima, Minas Gerais and São Paulo were authorized by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL), in the meeting of last Tuesday (17), to act as Independent Producers* of power.
Company Boa Vista Energia S.A. will deploy and operate Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Distrito, in Boa Vista (RR). The plant has 25.6 megawatts (MW) of total power and uses it as diesel fuel. Company MF Projetos em Energia Ltda. will deploy and operate small hydroelectric plant (SHP) Juliões, located on river Macaúbas, in Piedade dos Gerais (MG). The SHP has 3.4 MW of installed capacity.
Company Andrade Açúcar e Álcool S.A. was allowed to establish itself as *autoproducer of power through the operation of Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Guarani-Andrade, with 14 MW of installed capacity in the city of Pitangueiras (SP). The TPP uses crushed sugar cane for power generation.
The Generation Database (BIG) of ANEEL records today (05/18), the existence of 932 independent power producing agents and 238 autoproducers of power authorized by the Agency.
