The board of the National Energy Agency (Aneel) approved today (05/31) declaration of public utility for purposes of easements for strips of land located in São Paulo, Paraíba and Rio Grande do Sul.

In São Paulo, the DUP was granted in favor of Companhia Paulista de Força e Luz (CPFL Paulista), which can deploy the transmission line Itatiba – Paineiras, in double circuit, in the nominal voltage of 138 kilovolts (kV), 16.5 kilometers (km) long. The line will connect the Itatiba substation to the Paineiras substation and will go by municipalities of Itatiba, Valinhos and Campinas (SP).

The statement issued to Energisa Paraíba Distribuidora de Energia S.A. considers strips of land located at a distance of 25 meters (m) wide, to implement the 69 kV distribution line Pilões – Guarabira in simple circuit being 16 km long, located in municipalities of Pilões, Cuitegí and Guarabira (PB).

And land areas located in a strip 10 m wide were also declared as public utility, required for the passage of 69 kV transmission line Pólo Petroquímo – Certaja, in simple circuit, being 44.81 km long.

The general procedures for application for a declaration of public areas of land necessary for the establishment of facilities for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, by concessionaires and authorized for expropriation and imposition of easements are on ANEEL Resolution No.279/2007 .
