The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) will hold on June 10, the first transmission auction in 2011 (Transmission Auction no. 001/2011). The event will take place at 10am at BM&FBOVESPA in São Paulo. To cover the event, you will need preliminary accreditation with BM&FBOVESPA. Professionals must submit the form below to e-mail imprensa@bvmf.com.br until 06/08. The credentials may be withdrawn at the site on the day of the auction (06/10), from 8am on. 

We ask thatTV staffs are in the venue until 9am on 06/10 to assemble lighting equipment and place cameras/tripods. Broadcasters who wish to transmit live images, and therefore require special infrastructure, should contact the Press Office of the BM&FBOVESPA in advance to arrange the installation of equipment on site the day before the auction. It will not be allowed placing cables, whether for transmission or energy, on the day of the event. The telephone number is (55 11) 2565-7943. 

The Transmission Auction no. 001/2011 is divided into three lots of projects with a total length of 440 kilometers (km), investments of BRL 750 million and generation of 4,500 direct jobs. The sum of the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP), which is the top remuneration of the winning companies, is BRL 93.6 million. The event aims to hire concessions projects that will integrate the Basic Network of the National Interconnected System (SIN), together with Transmission Facilities of Exclusive Interest of Shared Connection Generation Centers (ICG) who marketed energy in electricity auctions of reserve (No. 05/2010) and alternative sources (No. 07/2010).
