Those interested in disputing the construction of the projects referred to in Transmission Auction. 001/2011 shall apply as from 8am tomorrow, Tuesday (06/07), up to 2pm on Wednesday (06/08). The auction will be held next Friday (06/10), at the headquarters of the BM&FBOVESPA in São Paulo. Three lots of projects will be auctioned with a total length of 440 kilometers (km), investments of BRL 750 million and generation of 4,500 direct jobs. The sum of the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP)*, which is the top remuneration of the winning companies, is BRL 93.6 million. Check here the facilities of each lot.
The period of contribution for (online) bid of the participants is from 9am this Tuesday (06/07) until 4pm on Wednesday (06/08). For guarantees that do not have digital certification and guarantees appointed under deposit account, the delivery must be made on the BM&FBovespa, up to 4pm on 06/08.
The hiring of the auction concessions for projects that will integrate the Basic Network of the Interconnected System (SIN), in conjunction with Transmission Facilities of Interest exclusive of Central Shared Connection Generation (ICG)** which marketed energy at energy reserve auctions (no. 05/2010) and alternative sources (no.. 07/2010). The ICG is required for the disposal of wind energy sold in auctions and alternative sources of energy reserve, of August 2010, which resulted in the hiring of 1206.6 MW of installed power in Bahia, Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte.
Systematics of the auction – The financial offer with the value of the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP) for each lot must be submitted in a sealed envelope by the participant. If the difference between the lowest bid and other bids is greater than 5%, the lowest bidder wins the tender. If the difference is less than or equal to 5% or if there is a tie among the lowest bids, there will be a speakerphone round, in which the auctioneer may set minimum amounts to be provided between a bid and others. The winner of the bidder will be that submitting the lowest value. In case of any bidder bids on speakerphone, the winner will be who has submitted the lowest per envelope. If there is a tie in figures for bid submission envelope without speakerphone, the winner will be determined by lottery promoted by the director of the session.
Guarantees – To participate in the auction, bidders will bring guarantees of 1% of the investment value estimated by ANEEL. The Performance Bond is contributed only by the winners of the auction, replacing the previous guarantee. It corresponds to 5% of the investment value and must be picked up until two days before signing the contract.

The documents that support the event are available on the Agency's headquarters in Brasilia (DF), located in SGAN Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, from 8am to 6pm. * Annual Revenue Permitted (RAP) – is the annual revenue that the bearer is entitled for the provision of public service of transmission to users, as from the entry into commercial facilities. Its value is that obtained as a result of the auction, with annual update by the Consumer Price Index (IPCA) of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and reviewed every five years under a concession contract.
** TRANSMISSION FACILITIES OF EXCLUSIVE INTEREST OF SHARED CONNECTION GENERATION UNIT (ICG) – transmission facilities and equipment, not part of the Basic Network and Other Transmission Facilities (DIT), for access under shared aspect of generation units based on wind, biomass or small hydroelectric plants to the Basic Network.
