The executive board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved on Tuesday (06/14) in a public meeting, the rate adjustment of utility Rio Grande Energia S/A (RGE). The new rates will come into force on June 19, 2011, to 1.3 million consumer units distributed in 262 municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul. The average effect perceived by captive consumers of RGE will be of 6.74%.
