The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) authorized, during a public meeting this Tuesday (06/21), the transfer of corporate control of CJ Hydro Geração de Energia S.A, currently held by CJ Energética S.A, for CJ Participações Ltda. CJ Hydro Geração de Energia S.Ais authorized as an independent power producer through exploitation of Small Hydro Power (SHP) Toca do Tigre, with 12 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity located in the municipalities of Campo Novo and Braga (RS).

It was also authorized the transfer of corporate control of Atlântico Concessionária de Transmissão de Energia do Brasil Ltda., Currently held jointly by ARM Telecomunicações e Serviços de Engenharia Ltda., ARM Energia e Serviços de Engenharia Ltda. and C CME Construção e Manutenção Electromecânica S.A., which will be owned exclusively by CME Construção e Manutenção Electromecânica S/A.

The Agency also established the deadline of 90 days for the restructuring to be implemented and executed and that the documents evidencing the transaction were forwarded to ANEEL within 30 days from the date of consummation of the transaction. (PG/GL)
