Distribution rate has improved calculation methodology

Fonte: ANEEL
The board of the National Agency Energy (ANEEL) approved a resolution to improve the criteria for calculating the Use Rate of Distribution System (TUSDg)* paid by generating plants connected to the transmission network with a voltage of 138 kV or 88 kV (kilovolts).

The decision taken in a collegiate board meeting held today (06/28), sets price limits for TUSDg, as the largest value of the Use Rate of Transmission Systems (TUST)** calculated to generate the bars of the border, i.e., connection points, of the Unified Network. The limiter will be applied in the following cases: for all the generating plants that are or will be in commercial operation until June 30, 2013, for generators connected to importing unified networks identified at the time of calculating the TUSDg and hydraulic generators, independent of characteristic of the unified network being an importer or exporter.

Another regulation establishes the methodology for calculating the TUSDg for generating plants that will participate in the new energy auction of the Regulated Contracting Environment***, where there are buying and selling operations of electricity between agents preceded by biddings. ANEEL will publish, before the new energy auctions, the TUSDg of reference for the connected generation projects in 138 or 88kv participating in the auction.

The standard was in public hearing from March 31 to April 29 this year. During this period, ANEEL received contributions from twelve sector agents.
