Fonte: ANEELThe National Energy Agency (Aneel) submitted for public hearing proposed revision of the Risk Aversion Curves (CAR) of the Southeast/Midwest and Northeast for the period 2011/2012. The proposal is available for viewing at Hearings/Consultations/Forum on the website of the Agency (www.aneel.gov.br). The period for submitting written contributions opens on Thursday (06/30) and ends on 07/13 this year.
The proposed revision of the curves was placed under audience because of changed predictions for entry into commercial operation of power plants (TPP) located in the Northeast and Southeast. Check here the proposed revision of the curves.
The Risk Aversion Curves are a mechanism that determines the minimum level of storage reservoirs of hydroelectric plants needed for a safe energy production for the National Interconnected System. Established by Resolution No. 109/2002, of the Management Board of the Electric Energy Crisis (GCE), it acts as a flag of any risk of energy shortages caused by changes in storage volume of the reservoirs of hydroelectric plants.
