Areas in three states are declared public utility

The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved on Tuesday (06/28) the declaration of public utility for purposes of easements in favor of Eletropaulo Metropolitana Eletricidade de São Paulo S.A, which can deploy the 138 kV transmission line Jandira – Monte Belo, in double circuit, being 10.45 km long. The line will cross the towns of Jandira, and Carapicuíba Barueri (SP). 

Tracks of land located in Maranhãozinho (MA) were also declared public utility in favor of company Encruzo Novo Transmissora de Energia Ltda. The lands are necessary for the implementation of substation Encruzo Novo, in 230/69 KV – 100 MVA. 

In Rio Grande do Sul, in favor of the Rio Grande Energia SA – RGE, land areas located in Nova Petropolis were declared public utility. The goal is to make room for the passage of the transmission line Nova Petropolis 2 – Nova Petropolis 1, in 69 KV. 

The general procedures for requesting a declaration of public use of land areas necessary for the establishment of facilities for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, by concessionaires, authorizing and authorized bodies for purposes of expropriation and imposition of easements are in ANNEL Resolution No. 279/2007.
