The executive board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved this morning (07/04) the result of the approval and award of Transmission Auction No.001/2011, held on June 10 at the headquarters of BMF&Bovespa in São Paulo. By the announcement, the entrepreneurs who won the event have until August 10 to deliver the schedule, the budget of the transmission facilities and the documents of the Special Purpose Company (SPC) or the transmission concessionaire.
The award of the concession may occur up to 30 days after the delivery of the documentation referred to above. The contract has no set date. Documents relating to the event are available on ANEEL website, in Transmission Notices.
The first transmission auction of 2011 had an average discount of 53.27%, thus the total Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP)*, which is the top remuneration of the winning companies for the operation of enterprises, will be BRL 49,859,743.00, against BRL 93,600,820.00 initially anticipated.
Lot A, won by ConsórcioExtremoz (CHESF and CTEEP), had the largest discount to the estimated RAP, of 57.99%. Lots B and C, auctioned by Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco(CHESF) had a discount of 26% and 36% respectively.
The second transmission auction will be due in August 2011 and is expected to bid on 12 lots, with enterprises in 14 states. (FA/GL)
