It was approved on Tuesday, (07/05), during the public meeting of the board, the reduction in rates that will apply to consumers’ energy bills of Companhia de Energia Elétrica do Estado de Tocantins(CELTINS). The adjustment had been resolved last Tuesday (06/28), but it went through a change to keep up with the update of the IGP-M. Because the index was negative, the rates were also lower.
The average effect to be perceived by captive consumers of CELTINS will be 7.36% against 7.67%.
The rate became effective for 456,666 consumer units of 129 municipalities in the state of Tocantins last Monday (07/04).
