Hearing this Wednesday discusses regulation on compensation for electrical damage

The new procedures for requesting and receiving compensation for electrical damage will be discussed today (06), from 3:30pm to 6pm, during a session of the Public Hearing in person no. 034/2011. 

The proposal under discussion will integrate module 9 of the Distribution Procedures(PRODIST) and aims to standardize the handling of requests from distributors to compensation for electrical damage, processing of applications, answer to the consumer, and how to compensate maintenance of information for future conference. 

The proposal under Public Hearing changes to Chapter XVI of Normative Resolution No. 414/2010 for details about the application of the standard of compensation for electrical damage. The new regulation aims at the regulatory transparency to ensure fairness and security in the examination of applications, ensuring the suitability of the process and facilitating the interpretation of standards by consumers, distributors and state agencies convened. 

The deadline for receipt of contributions will end on July 24. After the period ends, all manifestations of session attendance and contributions will be reviewed by technical area and then submitted to the executive board, which shall take a decision on the matter.  (PG/FA/GL)
