Those interested in contributing to the process of conducting public hearings and consultations of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) can send contributions as from this Friday (07/08). ANEEL wants to improve the process by making rules and warnings clearer in order to make the procedure more transparent for society. 

One of the proposals of the draft resolution concerns the specific adjustments in relation to the time of contribution, date, time and place of physical meetings and consultations of the audience. 

Another suggestion is to replace the term "Live Session – Onsite," commonly confused with the Public Hearing itself, for the term "Onsite Meeting," in addition to simplifying the analysis of the contributions, which will be made ​​public before the decision of the subject. 

Another idea is to further explain the separation between audience and public consultation, emphasizing that the first is the responsibility of the Board of the Agency, and the second, of the organizational units.
