Hearing on Risk Aversion Curves has contribution period suspended

Fonte: ANEEL
The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) decided to suspend the period of contributions of Public Hearing No. 37/2011 which is a revision of the Risk Aversion Curves(CAR) of the Southeast/Midwest and Northeast for the 2011 and 2012 biennium.

The hearing was adjourned due to the approval of Normative Resolution No. 440/2011 establishing criteria for consideration of small mills in computational models of planning the operation and pricing. This policy may change values of Risk Aversion Curves that are going under hearing. As there was no time for the National System Operator (ONS) to recalculate the CAR of these regions according to the new resolution, ANEEL decided to temporarily suspend the period of contributions from the hearing.

After calculating the ONS, the reopening of the period for submitting suggestions and contributions to the public hearing will be decided at a board meeting. (DB/FC)
