The board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) has declared the land areas needed for the installation of the transmission line Small Hydropower Plant (SHP) Paracambi to be of public utility.
The decision of last Tuesday (07/19) declared, for purposes of administrative easement, a 30-meter strip. The transmission line is 3.2 kilometers (km) in length and is located in the municipality of Paracambi, Rio de Janeiro.
The general procedures for declaration of public utility of land areas needed for the implementation of electricity generation, transmission and distribution facilities, by concessionaires, permit holders, and license holders for purposes of expropriation of administrative easement institution,are provided for in ANEEL Resolution 279/2007.
