The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved at the meeting last Tuesday (08/09) reinforcements at the facilities of company ATE II Transmissora de Energia S.A.Improvements have been authorized in substation São João do Piauí (PI). To pay for these investments, ATE II will be entitled to portions of the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP)* of BRL 2.35 million.

Copel Geração e Transmissão S.A was also authorized to carry reinforcements to meet the states of São Paulo and Paraná. The reinforcements will be made ​​on the 500 KV Transmission Line Araquara 2 – Taubaté(excerpt in double circuit) and in substationCascavel Oeste. In this case, the company will be entitled to portions of the RAP in the amount of BRL 5.24 million.

The deadlines for entry into commercial operation of these reinforcements vary between 18 and 24 months. The reinforcements allowed for these facilities are provided in the Consolidatioin of Works of the Basic Network in the period from 2011 to 2013. The values ​​corresponding to the new portions of the RAP of companies are considered from the start of commercial operation of the reinforcements, based on the shelf life of the equipment.
