The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) will hold on Wednesday (08/17), starting at 1pm, a public draw session of the municipalities that will participate in the evaluation of consumer satisfaction on services provided by electricity distributors. The draw will take place in the mini-auditorium at the ANEEL's headquarters in Brasilia (DF) and will be broadcast on the Agency's website(www.aneel.gov.br).
This will be the 12th edition of the annual research that surveys the ANEEL Consumer Satisfaction Index (IASC). Interviews will be conducted with 19,470 residential consumers of 475 municipalities located in the concession areas of 63 distributors. The period of application of the questionnaires is scheduled for September and October 2011.
The IASC works as an instrument for assessing quality from the perception of residential consumers and provides subsidies for utilities to improve service delivery and also to assist ANEEL in monitoring activities and in improving the regulatory process.
