It starts this Thursday (08/18) the deadline for contributions to Public Hearing No. 045/2011, which aims to discuss the obligation of the National System Operator (ONS) to hire an independent auditing company to verify the data entry program provided by the companies to the Monthly Operation Program (PMO) and the systems used by the National Center of Electrical System Operation (CNOS).
This information impacts the sector planning and accounting for the Energy Trade House (CCEE). The Agency decided to discuss the issue because of the importance of having effective mechanisms to monitor the ONS on a regular basis and thus prevent occurrences in the electricity market and in the operation of the National Interconnected System (SIN).
The regulation that deals with the issue and is under review is Resolution No. 366/2009.
