The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) signed on Thursday (08/18), as an intervener, a Technical Cooperation Agreement aimed at data exchange to facilitate the identification of families potentially eligible for the Social Electric Energy Rate (TSEE), created by Law no. 12.212/2010.
The agreement was signed between the Brazilian Association of Electricity Distributors (Abradee) and the Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger (MDS) to cross-check between the Unified Registry System for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico) and the lists of consumer units of distributors.
The agreement was signed during a signing ceremony of the Program of the Federal Government – Brasil Sem Miséria, in the Southeast. The event took place at the Bandeirantes Palace, in the capital, São Paulo, with the presence of President Rousseff, former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso, the Minister of Mines and Energy, Edison Lobão, the Minister of Social Development and Fight Against Hunger, Tereza Campello, and the Director-General of ANEEL, Nelson Hübner, and several other officials.
