The 6th Congress of Technological Innovation in Electric Power (CITENEL) and the 2nd Seminar on Energy Efficiency in the Electricity Sector (SEENEL) were closed today (08/19), at Fábrica de Negócios, in Fortaleza (CE). The events were attended by 720 registered and 85 registered companies. In total 300 technical research and development (R&D) papers and 41 technical reports on energy efficiency were presented.
The Superintendent of Research and Development and Energy Efficiency of ANEEL, Máximo Luiz Pompermayer said that "events are a great opportunity to be accountable to society about how important resources for R&D and energy efficiency are being used."
Events coordinated by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL), this year, were organized by Companhia Energética do Ceará (COELCE). Experts and industry researchers met to discuss research and development (R&D) and energy efficiency (EE) initiatives, and participate in panels with presentation of results of projects developed by companies in the electricity sector, technical seminars and business rounds.
On the first day of the event, the fourth edition of Revista de P&D, edited by ANEEL, and the book "Desafios da Inovação em Serviços Públicos Regulados: Alterando paradigmas metodológicos na concepção das tarifas de energia elétrica," written by Marco Delgado AP, were released. The publication is the first book, a result of an R&D project regulated by ANEEL. Check here.
