Lands in Bahia receive declarations of public utility

The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved at the last board meeting (08/30), declaration of public utility of lands located in Bahia. The lands are necessary for the passage of a transmission line (TL) that will link the substations Aratu I, Camaçari II and Catu. The TL's main objective is the interconnection of the following power plants (TPP) with the basic network: TPPAratu I, TPPMC2 Catu, TPPMC2 Dias D’ávila I, TPPMC2 Dias D’ávila II, TPPMC2 Senhor do Bonfim, TPPMC2 Feira de Santana andTPPMC2 Camaçari I. 

The circuit between the Substation TPP Aratu I and Substation Camaçari II consists of a double circuit portion with 24.6 kilometers in length and a simple circuit which is 1.7 km long. The circuit between the Substation a TPP Aratu I nd Substation Catu is formed by the same double-loop section with 24.6 km in length followed by a simple circuit with 24.2 km in length. The service track corresponding to the TL reaches 83 properties located in the municipalities of Candeias, Dias D’Ávila, Mata de São João, São Sebastião do Passé and Pojuca. 

The general procedures for application of declaration of public utility of land areas necessary for the establishment of facilities for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, for concessionaires, authorizing bodies and authorized bodies for purposes of expropriation and imposition of easements are set out in ANEEL Resolution No.279/2007(DB/GL).
