Lot A of Transmission Auction No. 004/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (09/02), was taken by the Boa Vista Consortium, for BRL 121,128,000.00, without discount in relation to the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP)*, an initial set by the Agency. The Consortium, only proponent of Lot A, is formed by Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S/A (Eletronorte), with 49% and Alupar Investimentos S/A, with 51%.
The RAP is the recipe that the entrepreneur is entitled to for providing the transmission service from the start of commercial operations of the facility. Lot A is composed of two transmission lines and two substations in Amazonas and Roraima. One of the benefits of the projects is the connection of Boa Vista (RR) to the National Interconnected System (SIN) and reduction of expenses with the Fuel Consumption Bill (CCC) and the energy imports from Venezuela. The projects will generate 3,200 direct jobs and entry into commercial operation is planned for 36 months.
