In the competition for Lot C of Transmission Auction no. 004/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (09/02), Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S/A (Eletronorte) won the bid of BRL 1,464,000.00, 45.07% lower than the value Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP)*, an initial set by the Agency. The RAP is the recipe that the entrepreneur is entitled to for providing the transmission service from the start of commercial operations of the facility.
Lot C includes substation Nobres C, in Mato Grosso, which will meet the demands of the local power distributor, which is expected to improve the quality and reliability of the electrical system in the region. 153 direct jobs are expected in the construction of the project, which should enter into commercial operation 18 months after signing the concession contract.
